1. France Trip Prep and Plan

Well, we're at it again: heading back to France, this time to Quillan, a small town in the south of France to visit my cousin and to explore the area for three weeks. We've fallen into a cool house rental for our stay, Lynn has our flights and rental car booked, and we're packing early. This will be a fantastic experience.

Our flights begin in Asheville, NC, the evening of  September 4, and end in Barcelona, Spain, the next day. Then, we drive a few hours to Quillan. Packing light, one suitcase apiece, plus my bicycle (of course!). Lynn's been planning this trip literally for years, as the Covid 19 world-wide shut-down kept us from traveling as she originally planned a few years ago.

Auntie Beth will be dog-sitting the girls at our home in Waynesville, NC, while we're gone. HoneyBun and Bijou love her, so there will be happiness all around.

I'll try to post a few photos here, of some earlier activities this summer, purely as an experiment to see if I've got this blog set up correctly. Future entries should be a little more interesting and France specific, as we get our trip under way.
